Las TIC en la formación del maestro: "realfabetización" digital del profesorado

In this article the relationships between technological, social and educational changes are analyzed. We also point out the need for a �digital re-literacy� of teachers at all levels as a crucial condition for education in the Society of Information. Although we acknowledge that the technological dimension is necessary, we make clear that it must not be considered the most important one, but rather as a part of the pedagogical dimension in teacher training, or as part of an educational project. Teacher training in ICT should not be focused on providing access to technology and making teachers capable of using it. Teachers should also learn: - How ICT are and should be used in the classroom: Their role and potential in learning (and in education). - How ICT are and should be used in society, by enlarge: Their role and potential in education (and in learning). In line with these two big axes, the recent proposals of the Spanish Ministry of Education for the degreed of Infant and Primary Teaching Training are analyzed.En este artículo se analiza la relación entre el cambio tecnológico, cambio social y cambio educativo, y se plantea la necesidad de una �realfabetización digital� del profesorado. Aunque planteamos la dimensión tecnológica de la capacitación docente como necesaria, lo hacemos resaltando que no ha de ser considerada como la más importante, sino más bien como parte de la formación didáctica o como parte de un proyecto educativo. La formación del profesorado en TIC no debe centrarse en proporcionar acceso a los medios y capacitar a los profesores para su manejo. Al docente le corresponde también saber: - Cómo están y deberían estar las TIC en el aula. Su papel en el aprendizaje (y en la educación). - Cómo están y deberían estar las TIC en la sociedad. Su papel en la educación (y en el aprendizaje). En línea con estos dos grandes ejes, se analizan las recientes propuestas del MEC sobre los títulos de grado para Maestro de Educación Infantil y de Educación Primaria
